Designer Anita Dongre once again presented her magical bridal collection by the grandeur of Rajasthan at Lakme fashion week winter festival 2011. The fashion show was a panorama of ethnic, fabrics and characteristic of Rajasthan. The show started with the Lisa Haydon in a black net flowing anarkalis and embroidered bodice lehenga. The mesmerizing bandhani of the region, combined with ikats, velvets with Zari and Badla and traditional metallic patterns gave the perfect fashion touch. Her others collection are swirling lehengas, saris, stylish salwar kameeze, dramatic jackets but she moved the western region with some stunning gowns.
Designer used the fiery red, ink, black, beige, rust, black and white colours for the beautiful prints with glittering embellishments. The collection of lehengas and the tiny cholis were presented as bikini tops, ruffled bustiers and strap bandeaux made a perfect bride wear. Saris were dramatically with Indian motifs and the gowns had moulded bodices with one shoulder accents that will appeal to the international buyer. Her collection in the bride wore the handcrafted natural organic white mull lehenga by women. The more beautiful creation took three months to produce and called a Labour of Love.
